Why Are We Jons Pawns?
The name pawn has been given a bad rep. They’re are seen as low value pieces. Made to be sacrificed. Inconsequential.
In reality this is far from the truth. Pawns like any piece have value and are not to be wasted. So why did our owner Jon choose this name? Pawns unlike every other piece on the board don’t have a fixed value, when they reach the other side of the board, they promote. This makes the pawn the perfect repersentation of our childrens potential.

Chess is a unique game that inquires incredible skill and hard work to be proficient in. But unlike other sports, chess players are typically unrecognized for their effort. At Jons Pawns we employ these experts to give them the recognition they deserve.
